Gwydir Wetlands State Conservation Area, NSW, Australia

Here a few photos taken at Gwydir Wetlands SCA. This is an area of former broadacre farms bought back by the NSW Government in order to protect wetlands that flood when the Gwydir and/or Mehi Rivers break their banks. Both are tributaries of the Barwon River, which later merges into the Darling River; the wetlands are thereby part of the Murray-Darling Basin. Note that some photos presented on this website are available FOR SALE.
