Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, NSW, Australia

Aboriginal name: "Giidany Miirlarl" [Gumbaynggirr]

Here a photo taken by us of Muttonbird Island. Muttonbird Island is located right outside the marina of Coffs Harbour, NSW, and hosts one of only a few rookeries of Wedge-tailed Shearwaters ("Muttonbirds") right on the coastline of mainland Australia. We did not visit this Nature Reserve, but had a look at it from from Sawtell, NSW. Note that some photos presented on this website are available FOR SALE.
