Yellow-legged Flycatchers are very small robins.
They have a grey head, with white eye-rings and weak white
frontal supercilia above dark-grey loral stripes. The chin
and throat are white, the chest is grey and from the belly
downward they are pale-yellow, with a light-grey tinge.
The back is brownish-grey, with wing feathers and a tail
that are a shade darker brownish-grey.
The characteristic feature that distinguished them from other,
similar species is that they have a two-coloured bill, with a
dark-grey upper mandible and a yellow lower mandible.
The irises are dark. Legs and feet are yellow.
