Birds at Eulah Creek

At Eulah Creek, the place where we live since November 2006, 20 km East of Narrrabri, NSW, the following bird species have been spotted by us. They are listed here in four categories, according to the timing of their sightings. Bird species that are listed as Vulnerable or Endangered are marked as such.

In some cases the categorisation indicates a trend - we see the occasional Pied Currawong all year around, but they are mostly around the place in winter, while during spring/summer they retreat into the bush.

Bird species we have seen breeding on our property (with at least a photo of a nest or nest entrance) are marked with a clickable superscript "N", leading to the relevant breeding information.

Eulah Creek is listed as a "birding hotspot" on ebird.org .
