Birds along the Mehi River, downstream of Whittaker's Lagoon, Moree

This list combines three different locations along a 6-km stretch of the Mehi River, 19-25 km West of Moree, NSW. 1. Whittaker's Lagoon is an ephemeral, isolated floodplain wetland 19 km West of Moree, NSW. 2. Combadello Weir is a weir about 23 km West of Moree surrounded by woodlands, scrub and farmland. 3. Pieces of woodland and scrub near Ruth Leitch Bridge, ca. 25 km West of Moree, provide habitats mostly for bush birds. The following bird species were spotted in this area by C.
