The range of Hume's Wheatear extends from northern Arabia,
around the Persian Gulf, through parts of Kuwait, Iraq and
Iran.
Recently, there have been only very few sightings further
to the East, towards Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.
Hume's Wheatears are resident in northern Arabia, in
particular in the rocky mountain ranges from Musandam
to near the eastern tip of the peninsula, but also on
the near-coastal strip.
Hume's Wheatears have a preference for mountainous, stony
and even barren country with few shrubs, usually at the
foot of hills/mountains.
