Parque Nacional Conguillio, IX. Region, Chile |
Here a few photos taken by us at PN Conguillio. In this park the most active volcano of South America, the Llaima, is found. This can lead to park closures (click on the park's name in the header to find current information from CONAF's website). Note also that, on the dark volcanic soil, it can become astonishingly hot on the eastern side of the volcano during summer.
