Mother of Ducks Lagoon Nature Reserve, NSW, Australia

Here a few photos taken at Mother of Ducks Lagoon. Located right on the edge of Guyra, at 1300 m altitude in the northern tablelands of NSW, Mother of Ducks Lagoon is one of only a few high-altitude semi-permanent wetlands, making it an important potential stopover for aquatic birds migrating along the Great Dividing Range, parallel with the east coast of Australia. It is dominated by an extended marsh lined with reeds. Note that some photos presented on this website are available FOR SALE.
