Immature male Satin Bowerbird

Bowerbird main page
.
In October 2018 R. Plumtree observed a young male Satin Bowerbird working on its bower near Jamieson, VIC. Apart from the bird's work, this demonstrates that males that do not have adult plumage yet CAN have bowers. It is unknown to us whether, or at what age, they can attract females and produce offspring.
